CALCULATION OF CENTRAL CAVITY PERFUSION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/295

Abstract RU 2702605 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a system and a method for monitoring perfusion in a patient. Tension is applied to the patient's chest by means of the first electrode. Using the second electrode, current generated by the applied voltage is measured through the patient's chest. Information on heart beats is collected with the help of connected ECG. Processor generates a wave signal of frequency of respiratory movements based on impedance, obtained by dividing the applied voltage on the measured current. Fourier transform of the wave signal of the frequency of respiratory movements is performed with reference to heart beat of the patient. Artefacts of cardiac activity are isolated from Fourier transformation. Inessential signals arising from movement and respiration of the patient are removed. Inverse Fourier transform of the selected cardiac artefacts is performed to generate a wave signal indicating the blood volume pumped into the thoracic cavity and pumped out of it. Initial time interval is restored by interpolation for inverse Fourier transform. Perfusion wave signal is generated to indicate the perfusion of the patient's thoracic cavity on the basis of the recovered cardiac artefacts.

EFFECT: ensuring perfusion monitoring of a thoracic cavity of the patient on the basis of allocated artefacts of cardiac activity.
