FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment, namely to synchronous reactive electric generators. Inductor generator with superimposed windings comprises stator with salient-pole core and multiphase winding made in form of spool coils covering stator poles. Sources of excitation current are made in form of additional coils or additional coils placed together with tooth coils at stator poles. Topless rotor with toothed core. Spools form phase windings interconnected by a triangle or polygon. In each of them in-series connected diodes, in parallel to which capacitors are connected. Sources of excitation current through electronic switches, preferably thyristors, are connected to diodes included in phase windings. Generator output voltage regulator is implemented based on microcontroller or analog and digital logic circuits. Regulator performs simultaneous generation of control signals for all electronic switches (thyristors). It also provides control of output voltage of generator by changing ratio between number of half-periods of current supplied from excitation current sources to parallel connected diodes and capacitors through open electronic switches, and number of half-periods of voltage of excitation current sources applied to closed electronic switches.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of design with corresponding improvement of reliability of generator and improvement of accuracy of maintaining its output voltage.
