FIELD: cryogenics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic equipment and can be used for production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) due to use of differential pressure between main and distribution pipelines. Disclosed group of inventions includes plant for production of liquefied natural gas and method of plant operation. At that, plant for production of liquefied natural gas includes gas drying and cleaning units, heat exchanger, separator, as well as expander and compressor, connected to each other, at that on production gas line compressor is arranged in series, refrigerator, first section of heat exchanger, cleaning unit, second section of heat exchanger, reducing device and separator equipped with LNG output line and return gas supply line to process gas line after expander, which form low pressure gas line, on which heat exchanger is located.
EFFECT: simplified installation and increased output of LNG.
