FIELD: valve industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve industry, specifically to shutoff valves, and can be used in development of devices for complete hermetic shutdown of flow of working medium in communications at high pressures of up to 5,000 atm. Claimed needle valve consists of a shut-off element arranged in the body in the form of a needle installed with possibility of axial movement along the longitudinal axis of the valve under action of a screw mechanism consisting of a lead screw and a pressure nut. On the valve body there is a state indicator in the form of a pressure limit switch, and the pressure nut is equipped with a key to interact with the pressure element of the switch and comprises an insert and an elastic element transmitting force from the pressure nut to the needle.

EFFECT: claimed shutoff needle valve when installed in high pressure systems up to 5,000 atm provides signal reception at guaranteed shutoff of working medium flow, which corresponds to valve state "closed".
