SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a roller cutter for a drill head and to a drilling head itself. Roller cutter for drilling head includes: shaft with longitudinal axis and configured to be installed on saddle-shaped support of drilling head; roller cutter housing installed with possibility of rotation around shaft and having cutting elements provided on outer surface; bearings installed inside annular cavity located radially between shaft and roller cutter housing; a first passage centered along the shaft axis and extending axially through the shaft from the first end; and a second passage extending transversely or perpendicular to the first passage to provide fluid communication between the first passage and the cavity. Roller cutter also comprises an elongated overflow chamber centered along the shaft axis and made in the form of elongated axial extension of the first passage extending in axial direction through the shaft outside the second passage in the form of a blind hole. Chamber has unoccupied internal volume along its axial length, made with possibility to receive lubricant fluid medium from annular cavity.

EFFECT: technical result is longer roller cutter service life.
