FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: pneumatic tire comprises tread including first tread pattern and second tread pattern. First tread pattern and the second tread pattern form a substantially symmetrical pattern relative to the tire equator and are arranged such that the pattern periods are offset relative to each other in the tire lengthwise direction. First tread pattern and second tread pattern comprise lateral inclined grooves, each of which extends axially inwardly with inclination from tread edge to axially inner edge located near tire equator, inner coupling groove which connects pair of transverse adjacent inclined grooves adjacent in longitudinal direction, and an external connecting groove which connects a pair of transverse inclined grooves adjacent in the longitudinal direction. Central connecting grooves are arranged so that pair of adjacent in axial direction transverse inclined grooves is connected.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of operational characteristics of tire on dry, icy and snow-covered roads.
