FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing and utilization of heat of converter gas with continuous steam generation. Method includes utilization of steam supplied from waste-heat boilers to unit for utilization of converter steam, and depending on temperature and pressure are supplied either to heat exchanger, where at stabilized steam pressure heated water to temperature of 95–100 °C is supplied to heat consumers via pipeline, wherein excess condensate from heat exchanger with temperature higher than 100 °C is collected in condensate collection tank, or – into pressure release regulator, wherein steam pressure is reduced to 1.5 kgf/cm2 and temperature up to 83 °C part of steam is discharged into sewer, and in case of steam pressure increase up to 3 kgf/cm2 and temperature up to 150–180 °C part of condensate is directed into atmosphere, wherein the remaining condensate is fed into the drainage collection tank to complete the steam recovery cycle.
EFFECT: possibility to catch and re-use steam from converter for heating of heat exchangers, to reduce water heating in hot-water boilers of thermal power plant, to save natural gas, to reduce noise level, to minimize losses of chemically purified water, to improve ecology, to automate mode of operation in off-season and winter period.
