SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method of controlling working cycles of communication profiles controlled by subscriber identification module (100) built into telecommunication terminal (110, 210), wherein method is carried out by module (100), which is configured to use at least one control method, wherein method uses set of at least one command and/or at least one rule, wherein the method comprises the following steps: receiving (B610) a message (M610) transmitted by terminal (110) and characterizing capabilities of terminal (110), - selecting or not selecting (B615) a set used by method, depending on capabilities of terminal (110), and, if the set is selected, controlling at least one operating cycle of one of the profiles using a set of at least one instruction and/or at least one rule.
EFFECT: technical result consists in overcoming subscriber and terminal identification module incompatibility problems.
