SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to signalling three-dimensional video information in communication networks. For this purpose disclosed is an apparatus configured to receive a request for user equipment capabilities of processing 3D video content and a list of formats, supported by device, transmission of 3D video on transport protocol on user device, in which transport protocol is real-time transport protocol (RTP) or hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP), list of formats includes indication of vertical interleaving, horizontal interleaving adjacent type package format compatibility frames top-down type package format compatibility frames type staggered field package format compatibility frames or time interleaving package format with high resolution on view.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of delivery of 3D video content in user terminal by checking format compatibility of 3D video content with a user terminal.
