SUBSTANCE: plant and method are used to produce oxygen by low-temperature air separation in the system of distillation columns. Proposed plant comprises high-pressure column (1) and low-pressure column (2), main condenser (3), product oxygen line (37) connected with low-pressure column (2), auxiliary column (4), gaseous feed device fractions (12), content of oxygen in which is equal to its content in air or higher, to collector of auxiliary column (4), line (19, 20, 20b) for reflux liquid, for introduction of liquid flow from high-pressure column (1), main condenser (3) or columns (2) of low pressure as reflux to the top of auxiliary column (4), wherein liquid flow has nitrogen content which is at least equal to its content in air. Liquefaction space of main condenser (3) is in connection (13, 14, 15) in flow direction with top of high-pressure column (2), and evaporation space of main condenser (3) is in connection (31, 33, 34, 35) in flow direction with low-pressure column (2). Apparatus also comprises separation column (5) for separation of oxygen and argon, which is in connection (29, 30) downstream with intermediate section of column (2) of low pressure, upper condenser (6) of separation column for separation of oxygen and argon, line (21, 22) for raw oxygen, for introduction of liquid raw oxygen from collector of column (1) of high pressure into space of evaporation of upper condenser (6) of separation column for separation of oxygen and argon. Liquefaction space of upper condenser (6) of separation column for separation of oxygen and argon is in connection (38, 39) in flow direction with top of separating column (5) for separation of oxygen and argon. Main condenser (3) is installed above column (1) of high pressure. Top condenser (6) of separating column for separation of oxygen and argon is located above separating column (5) for separation of oxygen and argon. Separating column (5) for separation of oxygen and argon is made as column for extraction of argon. Low pressure column (2) is located near high-pressure column (1). Auxiliary column (4) is located above main condenser (3). Column (5) for extracting argon is located above auxiliary column (4).
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of oxygen production, increased compactness of installation.
