FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to an analgesic composition. Analgesic composition for topical application contains: 1 wt. % extract of Acmella oleracea, 1 wt. % one or more terpene-containing extracts, where the terpene-containing extract is Cistus ladanifer oil or Cistus ladanifer oil and Cupressus sempervirens oil; and a carrier. Disclosed is a topical lotion for local analgesia containing a composition. Analgesic composition for topical application contains: an effective amount of the extract of Acmella oleracea and an effective amount of one or more terpene-containing extracts, where the terpene-containing extract is Cistus ladanifer oil or Cistus ladanifer oil and Cupressus sempervirens oil; and a carrier, where the Acmella oleracea extract and one or more terpenoid-containing extracts are included in the composition in a weight ratio of 1:1.
EFFECT: compositions described above have improved local analgesic properties.
