FIELD: cosmetic industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of cosmetic industry, namely to a transparent composition for hair growth or renewal of hair growth, containing: a) liquid vesicles that contain: i) minoxidil as a compound for hair growth or renewal of hair growth and ii) composite ester of C8-C24 alcohol and carboxylic acid, selected from cetil lactate and myristil lactate, and a mixture of C12-C15 alkyl lactates; b) an agent modifying viscosity; c) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier for local application, containing: i) from 10 to 60 wt.% of ethanol; ii) up to 40 wt.% of diatomic alcohol selected from propylene glycol, pentylene glycol or mixtures thereof; and iii) water; wherein the total concentration of ethanol and diatomic alcohols is from 20% to 80% by wt. of the total composition, so that the composition is transparent, and liquid vesicles are suspended in the pharmaceutically acceptable liquid carrier.

EFFECT: present invention provides for significantly enhanced delivery of minoxidil deeper to the human skin.
