FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of decorative inserts for decoration from plastic mass. Proposed method comprises billet molding, heating, decorating and cooling. Billet is formed from a transparent plastic cup with its upper edge cut off and the remaining part of the cup is cut into strips from the upper edge to the bottom along the entire perimeter. Then the workpiece is decorated with elements, filling them on the bottom of the cup. Then, workpiece is heated until final deformation of strips and formation of preset shape of article, after which produced item is cooled. Decorating elements used are beads, glitter, beads. Strips are heated with a construction dryer.
EFFECT: invention can be used for creation of inserts into souvenir items or costume jewelry imitating natural minerals.
