SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making decorative inserts for decoration from plastic mass and can be used to create inserts into souvenir products or costume jewelery. Billet is formed from plastic by cutting base, cutting multicolored elements of different geometric shape and dimensions commensurate with the base, and repositioning the cut elements on the base in a predetermined shape. After that, billet is heated in muffle furnace for 10-20 minutes to temperature of 140-280°C and cooled at room temperature. Then the product is decorated with glitter, acrylic paints, decorative glass and stones.
EFFECT: cheapening, simplifying and accelerating the process of making decorative inserts into art products and obtaining an article of various sizes, colors, shapes, textures and relief.
