FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a system for automatic landing of an aircraft on a landing strip, a data processing device for realizing the method. Method comprises estimating aircraft location and orientation, measuring flight altitude, azimuth relative to control point, controlling aircraft along preset path from return point (A) to preset capture point (B), controlling aircraft along preset trajectory from gripping point (B) to approach point (C), controlling aircraft from landing approach point (C) to landing point (PA). System comprises an inertial unit, an altimeter, a course deviation indicator, a data processing device configured to implement the method.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of alignment and landing of aircraft without using satellite navigation system.
