FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of means for autonomous landing of an unmanned aircraft (UAV) for autonomous automatic landing of a vertical take-off and landing UAV contains a video camera with a narrow-band filter placed on board the UAV, a computing module, an integration module with an inertial navigation system and a flight control system, a downward-looking video camera, as well as a ground-based optical beacon located in the immediate vicinity of the landing site at a point with coordinates known relative to the centre of the landing site and emitting pulses in a given spectral range of wavelengths with a given time modulation, connected in a certain way.
EFFECT: configuration of the set of means for autonomous landing of the UAV is minimized and reliability of determining the coordinates of the UAV is increased under the conditions of using the invention for landing a vertical take-off and landing UAV with unaccounted sources of optical radiation located in the vicinity.
