FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser equipment. Multibeam electric-discharge laser includes parallel gas-discharge tubes located around central axis, an optical resonator made of a blind and partially reflecting mirror, which is located opposite ends of gas-discharge tubes perpendicular to their axis, and two angle mirror prisms installed near opposite end surfaces of gas-discharge tubes. Planes of bisectors of intersection of mirrors in angular mirror prisms pass radially through central axis of gas-discharge tubes and shift relative to each other around central axis of gas-discharge tubes by 180°/n, where n is an integer. At that within angular sectors 360°/n, coming from central axis of gas-discharge tubes and alternating n times around central axis from radial plane of bisectors of one of corner mirror prisms, there are several gas-discharge tubes in different radial planes, the arrangement of which is mirrored in each sector.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in laser power and providing its compactness.
