FIELD: laser engineering. SUBSTANCE: gas-discharge tubes in gas laser are arranged equidistantly in two parallel packs. Gas- discharge tubes of length L are located in two flat packs at equal distance A from each other. Planes of packs are positioned in parallel. Tubes in one pack are placed at angle relative to tubes of other pack so that end faces of tubes in different packs are arranged opposite to each other with slight shift. Angular mirror prisms are oriented so that their bisectors are located between planes of tube packs, and their mirrors transfer radiation from tube faces of one pack to tube faces of the other pack which ensures transmission of laser radiation over all tubes in succession beginning with tube located opposite to rear dead mirror and finishing with tube positioned near output half-transparent mirror. EFFECT: more effective design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
