SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to a field device for determining a process variable and providing a measurement signal. Obtained by that field device comprises a measuring device for determining process variable, current control device electrically connected in series to the measuring device and controlled by the measuring device to provide a measurement signal of the two-wire current loop, and voltage control circuit electrically connected in series with current control device and measuring device for voltage control at current control device to desired voltage by voltage change on voltage control circuit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing improved stability of controlled loop current.
