FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of detecting steam leaks in submarine compartments. Summary: system comprises sources of information on availability of steam leaks distributed via turbine compartments of submarine, connected via data pre-processing devices with central control system. Information sources use information from a detector consisting of measuring line (1–5), a controller unit (A1), a switching unit (A2), a high-voltage converter unit (A3), a preamplifier (A4) and a power supply unit (A5). Measuring line (1–5) includes swirler (1) of gas flow, charging (2) and measuring (3) chambers with electrodes, blower (4) with impeller rotated by electric motor (5). Charging chamber (2) of measuring line is configured to separate particles larger than 5 mcm due to action on incoming gas flow of unipolar pulse corona charge. Charging chamber (2) of the measuring line is also configured to automatically eliminate sticking and condensation of fine particles on its central electrode due to periodic change of polarity of the high-voltage voltage supplied to it.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities, shorter time for detecting leaks.
