FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electric disconnector is presented. In the disconnector housing there are fixed contacts closed/opened by the movable contact. Membrane, by means of which movable contact is connected to housing, divides housing volume into upper and lower volumes filled with gas under different pressures. For fast disconnection of fixed contacts on the housing there is a valve with an electromagnetic drive and a shutter made using material with high electric conductivity.
EFFECT: fast disengagement of fixed contacts.
