SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Disclosed is an apparatus for seed grinding comprising a drum, an unloading opening, a working member, a dispensing hopper and an unloading tray. Drum is made in the form of a container elastically installed on the base with a vibrator and made along the perimeter with a smooth multi-start screw surface, is made along the perimeter with smooth helical grooves inside the container in the form of curved pockets with centers of curvature located inside the container cross-section from three and more identical strips of a convex curvilinear shape, twisted in longitudinal direction relative to longitudinal axis and curved along screw line in transverse direction on barrel-shaped mandrel with formation along perimeter of container of three and more internal curvilinear surfaces of convex shape with centers of curvature inside container. Each next strip is connected to the previous one along its convex side with formation of laps inside the container in the form of screw blades, the width of which varies from minimum to maximum and again to minimum along its entire length from inlet to outlet hole.

EFFECT: invention provides reduced damage of seeds.
