SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the equipment for grinding bulk materials and can be used in the food, construction, chemical and metallurgical industries as well as in agricultural production. In the method, the mill contains a drum, drive, loading and unloading trunnions. Said drum is made with a smooth multi-thread spiral surface around the perimeter, and with smooth spiral grooves in the form of curved pockets around the perimeter and inside the drum. Further, the centers of curvature of the pockets are located inside the cross section of the drum. Said drum consists of three or more identical strips of convex curvilinear shape, twisted in the longitudinal direction relative to the longitudinal axis and curved along a helical line in the transverse direction on a barrel-shaped mandrel with the formation along the perimeter of the drum of three or more internal curved surfaces of convex shape with centers of curvature inside the drum, each subsequent strip is connected to the previous one on its convex side with the formation of overlaps inside the drum in the form of screw blades. And the width of the blades varies from the minimum to the maximum and again to the minimum along the entire length of the drum from the inlet to the outlet. Moreover, along the entire length of the drum, a spring of convex shape is mounted with a square cross section of coils and with a device for changing the spaces between the coils by stretching or compressing it.
