Machine for the preparation of saline solution for the purification of drinking water in water intakes contains rotating drum 1 and housing 8. Drum 1 is made around the perimeter in the form of a multiple spiral surface with helical grooves inside the drum 1 in the form of curved pockets with curvature centers located inside the cross section of drum 1. Drum 1 is made of five or more identical rectangular bands twisted in the longitudinal direction relative to the longitudinal axis and curved along a helical line in the transverse direction with the formation around the perimeter of drum 1 of five or more internal curved surfaces of convex shape with centers of curvature inside drum 1 and the formation of laps inside drum 1 in the form of helical blades along the entire length of drum 1 from the entrance to the outlet. Along the entire length of drum 1, barrel-shaped spring 10 with a flat cross-section of turns is mounted, which is equipped with a device for changing the turn of the turns by stretching or compressing it.
