FIELD: typewriters.
SUBSTANCE: filtering module for an ink-jet printing device with continuous supply of ink comprises a filter housing and a filter medium fixed inside the housing. Filter housing further includes an inlet through which ink flows into the housing under pressure, and a first self-sealing valve assembly arranged inside the inlet opening. In addition, the housing includes an outlet through which ink flows from the housing under pressure, and a second self-sealing valve assembly arranged inside the outlet opening. First and the second valves assembled are opened at mechanical connection with the ink channel from the ink reservoir through the filtering module to the printing head, and the first and the second valves assembled are tightly closed at mechanical disconnection from the ink channel.
EFFECT: present disclosure provides a filter module with self-sealing valve assemblies, that is configured to leave a minimal amount of printing fluid in the module after use.
