FIELD: insecticide compositions.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents for insect control. Proposed insecticide composition contains powder of porous mineral and boric acid. Porous mineral is represented by uncoated diatomite powder. Composition contains components in the following ratio: diatomite powder – 10–90 wt%, powder of boric acid – 10–90 wt%. Powders have particle size from 1 to 200 mcm.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the rate of insect death, as well as the level of their damage, expressed by the ratio of the number of dead insects to the total number of insects exposed to the composition.
