FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to vibration suppression in electric locomotive traction engine suspensions. Method of oscillation level control in electric locomotive traction engine suspensions consists in fixing limiting values of oscillations amplitude of traction motor, and when limit value of vibration amplitudes is reached, stiffness of two pneumatic bottles is changed by pumping or bleeding of air. Also disclosed is a device for implementing said method, comprising two pneumatic cylinders arranged on a traction motor, with air pumping channels and controlled throttles for bleeding.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of effect on traction engine of three external disturbances.
