FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building. Hypocycloid gearing comprises interacting inner wheel with external toothed profile and outer wheel with inner tooth profile installed on parallel axes offset relative to each other by amount of eccentricity. Toothed profiles of both wheels are arranged in the form of equidistance to normal hypocycloids. Hypocycloids of wheels are built by rolling circle of one radius, wherein inner circle hypocycloid touches outer wheel hypocycloid by all its vertices. Radius of rolling circle is equal to eccentricity. Profile of engagement is corrected due to reduced value of equidistant of inner wheel relative to value of equidistant of outer wheel by value h, making (0.001–0.05)e, where e is value of eccentricity.
EFFECT: increased load capacity and reliability of gear operation, with simplicity and manufacturability of tooth profiles.
