FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport facilities designed to increase cargo turnover of large-capacity containers. Transport system for transportation of large-capacity containers includes facilities for arrangement of containers and facilities for their movement. Means for arrangement of containers are made in the form of a can-pod capsule with aerodynamic fairings equipped with windows for loading of containers installed perpendicularly to axis of capsule movement. Means for capsule movement are made in the form of levitation system and lateral stabilization, as well as elements of linear traction engine installed in lower part of capsule interacting with elements of active magnetic leavatory track structure installed on supports fixed on trestle supports.
EFFECT: as a result, freight system turnover considerably increases, cargoes high speed and complete autonomy of transport system operation.
