FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used as parts of various machines, in particular, as wheel in production of vehicles. Ring consists of spatially spaced, coaxially located external and internal axisymmetric shells, made, for example, in the form of cylindrical rings interconnected by means of three interconnected intermediate shells, which are located in cavity between external and internal axisymmetric shells so that included in composition of three connected to each other, arranged in cavity between outer and inner axially symmetric shells of intermediate shells. Middle intermediate shell envelopes inner axially symmetric shell so that dividing wall of middle intermediate shell in half middle layer touches middle layers of external and internal axially symmetric shells on diametrically opposite lines, which is part of three interconnected intermediate shells. Second intermediate shell is located in cavity between inner axially symmetric shell and middle intermediate shell so that its middle layer is in contact with middle layers of inner axially symmetric shell and middle intermediate shell along their contact line, the third intermediate shell included in the composition of three intermediate shells is placed in the cavity between the outer axially symmetric shell and the middle intermediate shell so that its middle layer touches the middle layers of the external axially symmetric shell and the middle intermediate shell along their contact line. Walls of three interconnected intermediate shells have variable curvature both in axial and tangential directions and are made so that lines of contact of middle layers of walls of intermediate shells with medial layers of walls of external and internal axisymmetric shells represent lines of spirals.
EFFECT: increased stiffness and strength of wheel at maintaining its elasticity.
