FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used as converter of mechanical energy of rotation into electric energy of alternating current. Universal cascade generator comprises unified stator and rotor modules and consists of front and rear covers with shaft bearings, of the shaft itself made in the form of a composite difficult-to-profile structure consisting of a cylindrical part of the shaft with a key for connection to the drive, and in the middle part - shaped sections in the form of a straight-toothed cylindrical gear wheel with twelve teeth, on which the rotor units are arranged through the shaft extensions. Each stator unit consists of a tapered magnetic conductor of cone shape, in slots of which there is a six-pole single-phase concentrated winding. On the housing there is an electronic unit of the module with rectifier diodes for generation of cascade or switching output signal. Rotor module is made in the form of a concave disk with a twelve-bore hole in the middle for installation on the shaft. On the rotor disc there are segmented magnets with axial magnetization from rare-earth materials, area and shape of which corresponds to stator teeth. Magnets form salient-pole inductor with alternating magnetic poles, longitudinal axes of which correspond to some axes of twelve-bore hole in centre of rotor.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of manufacturing, improvement of repairability, improvement of weight and size parameters, increase of efficiency and output power, reduction of losses of magnetic flow dissipation.
