FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanization of labor-intensive processes in livestock sector, in particular, to production of straw mat used in a cattle-breeding premises. Method of straw matting consists in grinding straw to produce straw chaff. At the same time mesh web-shell is knitted by means of capron cord as fishing nets. Shell is bent along the length in half, connecting the upper and lower parts of the base so that their longitudinal axes are parallel to each other and fixed in a helical manner, enveloping these parts of the base with pitch of 150–200 mm with a quick-detachable capron cord. Then formed capacity is filled with that of straw to thickness of 300–400 mm, the second end of the formed bag is closed, rolled along length till formation of formation with thickness of 50–60 mm. After that the stratum is sutured along with quick-detachable capron cord at the center from chopping of straw chops, rolled up and delivered to the place of usage. If necessary, deep bedding is made with thickness of up to 300 mm by laying deck chairs.

EFFECT: invention provides improved conditions of animals by creating comfortable rest conditions.
