FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming groups of animals of the same origin, age, weight, adaptation to the same conditions of keeping and feeding, natural resistance and specific stability to noninfectious and infectious diseases. Animals are kept on a combination program and the structure of the formed group or herd is kept constant as a technological unit having like biological parameters of first-calf heifers and cows in all stages of their life. Quantitative structure of the technological unit is changed only by discarding the animals without adding replacements into the corresponding group or herd. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
