FIELD: package and storage.
SUBSTANCE: container for consumer articles is at least partially formed from a layered workpiece having an inner surface and an outer surface and a thickness (T) of approximately 100 micrometers to approximately 350 micrometers. Proposed billet defines the part of container that contains at least first flat wall and second flat wall interconnected by first part in form of edge. Inner surface of first part in form of edge comprises one or several lines of ablation, extending in longitudinal direction of first part in form of edge, each of which is provided in form of groove inside billet, having minimum residual thickness (RT) from approximately 15 percent to approximately 40 percent of thickness (T) of layered workpiece, and width (X) of ablation measured transversely to longitudinal direction of first part in form of edge. Laminated workpiece is folded around one or more ablation lines, so that for each ablation line angle (α) between the outer surface of the first flat part of the workpiece adjacent to one side of the ablation line, and the outer surface of the second flat part of the workpiece adjacent to the other side of said ablation line is within 5 degrees .
EFFECT: high strength container is disclosed.
