FIELD: ventilation and air conditioning.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ventilation and air conditioning equipment and can be used for air humidification in rooms for various purposes. Device for air humidification includes housing (1), tray (3) filled with water and humidifying element (2), made in the form of system of recesses (4) on lower wall of housing (1) and immersed into tray (3) to the specified level, with possibility of water ingress into recesses (4) through connecting holes (6) made in their deepest parts, behind each recess (4) in direction of flow of air supplied to humidification, guide aprons (5) are installed. Recesses (4) are made detachable spherical or other shape with their relative depth h/d>(0.35…0.5). Guide aprons (5) are made in the form of sectors of a hemisphere or other shape. In tray (3) channels are made for supply (7) and outlet (8) of water to maintain constant water level in recesses l=(0.1…0.2)h, wherein adjustment of water supply is performed by means of valve (9). Also, order and density of recesses (4) location on humidifying element (2) surface is determined.
EFFECT: invention allows simplifying the design of the device for air humidification and improving its efficiency, as well as increasing service life of ventilation and air conditioning systems used in industry.
