FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mechanical means for carrying out physiotherapeutic procedures and/or domestic massages, spa procedures, sports massage and can be used for local massage both independently and using massage oils and physiotherapy. Massage device consists of a movable part in the form of a hollow massage drum made in the form of axes, which are fixed with possibility of rotation on the axes with massage elements. Axes are fixed on the bases, the first of which is fixed on the frame of the device with possibility of rotation, and the second one is connected to the output element of the reduction gear, the input element of which is fixed on the shaft of the electric motor. Electric motor is attached to the frame and is located inside the hollow massage drum.
EFFECT: invention allows improving reliability and capacity of the device with simultaneous provision of more accurate dosing of the load on the massage area, reducing the level of acoustic noise and simplifying the device as a whole.
