FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of producing clathrate hydrates, involving formation of a powdered dispersion by mixing dispersed hydrophobic powdered silicon dioxide and water, cooling the obtained powdered dispersion to temperature in the range from minus 200 °C to minus 10 °C, mixing the ice-containing dispersion with the stabilizing agent at atmospheric pressure and temperature below the melting point of ice, maintaining the obtained mixture in the atmosphere of a gas-hydrate gas at temperature higher than the melting point of ice in range from 0 to plus 10 °C and at a pressure exceeding the equilibrium hydration pressure, to obtain a gas hydrate dispersion, further cooling thereof to temperatures of minus 80 °C to minus 1 °C and depressurization to atmospheric pressure.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of contact area of water drops and hydrate-forming gas, as well as high stability of hydrate particles in metastable conditions at temperature from minus 80 °C to minus 1 °C and atmospheric pressure due to self-conservation effect caused by presence of stabilizing agent layer (hydrate decomposition inhibitor) on their surface.
