FIELD: manufacture of heat-storing fillers.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a heat-storing material involves adding a hydrate-forming component, a polymer gelling agent and a powdered nucleator to an aqueous solution. The resulting mixture is dispersed and then thermally cycled by sequential freezing at a cooling rate of 300-3000°C/h to temperature from -50 to -30°C and subsequent heating at a speed of 6-60°C/h to temperature from 5°C up to 35°C with the formation of a polymer cryogel matrix. Tetrabutylammonium bromide, tetrabutylammonium chloride, tetrabutylammonium fluoride or trimethylolethane are used as the hydrate-forming component. The polymer gelling agent was selected from polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylamide and guar gum. Powdered nucleator is an aluminosilicate or magnesium silicate powdered material.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the strength of the heat-accumulating material, as well as the stability of its thermal properties and shape.
