FIELD: machining of metals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bending. Measuring device (10) comprises first carriage (12) for connection with bending machine and for billet (M) passing there through in process of bending, first carriage (12) includes main part (20), pair of support elements (30, 32), installed on main part (20), pair of measuring rollers (34, 36) installed on corresponding support (30, 32) with possibility of free rotation relative to corresponding rotation axis (z1, z2), wherein axes are parallel to each other and perpendicular to bending plane, first measuring elements (50, 52) for outputting signals characterizing angular position of each of two measuring rollers (34, 36) relative to corresponding rotation axes (z1, z2), guide elements (28), installed on main part (20) and intended for direction of support elements (30, 32) along straight line in direction (y), perpendicular and passing through axes of rotation (z1, z2) of measuring rollers (34, 36), resilient elements (58) to create an elastic force acting on support elements (30, 32) and tending to move support elements (30, 32) to each other and thereby to bent workpiece (M) during its movement between measuring rollers (34, 36), with rolling thereof, respectively, on concave surface (Si) or convex surface (Se) of workpiece (M) as it moves through first carriage (12), and positioning means (66, 68, 74, 76) controlling the position of main part (20), that are guide elements (28) relative to bent workpiece (M) so that when bending with constant bending radius (Ri) tangent (t) to workpiece (M) longitudinal axis (x) at intersection of said axis (x) with direct direction (y) of guide elements (28) is perpendicular to said straight direction (y). Elastic elements (58) comprise at least one spring connected by one end to one support element (30) and an opposite end to another support element (32) so that the resulting perpendicular force acting on the side of said resilient elements (58) on the bend billet (M) is equal to zero.
EFFECT: device provides higher measurement accuracy.
