FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-shielding coatings intended for protection of units and units operating under conditions of aerodynamic and gas-dynamic heat flows. Composition for making the heat-insulating coating contains (pts.wt) phenol-formaldehyde novolac-type resin 10.0–12.0; furfurol 9.0–12.0; urotropin 1.2–1.6; butadiene-nitrile rubber in form of 20 % solution in acetone 26.0–28.0; acetone 4.0–6.0; butyl acetate 4.0–6.0; talc 19.0–21.0; mica 11.0–13.0; low-molecular polyurethane rubber 5.0–7.0; heat stabilizers – Agidol-5 2.0–4.0; triphenyl phosphite 2.0–4.0.
EFFECT: invention increases physical and mechanical properties of heat-shielding coating, increases strength of interlayer adhesion during application, enables to apply coating in increased thicknesses for articles, increases adhesion of coating to metals, as well as increase thermal oxidative stability under conditions of high temperatures and air oxygen.
