FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to binder based on furfural phenol-formaldehyde resin and Urotropine, in which a compensation composition based on a phenol-formaldehyde resin solution of novolac type and Urotropine is added. It is intended for production of articles working for short periods under conditions of high-temperature, thermal, gas-dynamic and aerodynamic effects. Binder contains the following components, wt. pts.: condensed furfural formaldehyde composition 30÷39; compensation composition 2.5÷7.8. At that, composition for compensation of loss from evaporation of furfural at drying prepreg contains, wt. pts.: phenol-formaldehyde resin of novolac type 45÷55; Urotropine 4.5÷6.0; solvent alcohol or acetone 45÷55.
EFFECT: invention improves processing characteristics, namely fluidity of composition when forming complex articles and reduces release of furfural into atmosphere during production.
