FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and maxillofacial surgery. Zigzag skin incision is made with lengths of zigzag lines of 1.5–2 cm located at angle of 120° to each other in parallel and lower edge of lower jaw by 3 cm with preservation of skin bridges between sublingual and submental. A sublingual-submandibular sac is dissected between the submandibular saliva gland and an adjacent portion of the lower jaw body for 3 cm. Access is made to the cellular cavities of the oral cavity bottom, draining downwards from the submandibular salivary gland.
EFFECT: method enables the fast recovery of the patients with putrid necrotic phlegmon of the oral cavity and achieving good cosmetic and functional characteristics of the postoperative cicatrix.
