FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining anatomical patient cranium type. Dolicho- or mesocephalic skull shape being the case, 1.5 cm long transverse submental incision and 2.5 cm long superior cervical fold incision in the middle part are used in combination. Brachycephalic skull shape being the case, 2.5 cm long transverse submental incision and two 2.5 cm long incisions along the superior cervical fold are applied. Patient head is fixed in postoperative period for 4 days in extension position at an angle of 30°.
EFFECT: improved wound exudates discharge; prevented cicatrix formation.
