FIELD: medicine; pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmacy and medicine. Disclosed is use of the composition in preparing a liquid product for preventing or treating an individual having disturbed plasma levels of one or more polar lipids: phosphatidylcholine (PC) PC aa C36:6, PC aa C38:0, PC aa C38:6, PC aa C40:6, PC ae C40:6 and a number of others, wherein said composition contains at least one group B vitamin selected from of vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and vitamin B9 (embodiments). Disclosed are 2 embodiments of a method for preventing or treating an individual having disturbed plasma PC levels, including analysing plasma levels of at least one phospholipid in an individual; selection of an individual with a disturbed plasma level and administering to said selected individual a composition comprising at least one vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and/or vitamin B9. Technical result is considerable increase of specific classes of polar lipids in blood plasma.
EFFECT: inventions can be used in patients with moderate cognitive impairment and patients with Alzheimer's disease.
