FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of minerals. Method for flotation separation of sphalerite and copper minerals from iron sulphides involves conditioning of ground pulp with a complexing regulator, a collector selective to zinc and copper, and a foaming agent and separation of zinc concentrate into a foam product of flotation. Ammonium rhodanide is used as a complexing regulator. Complexing collector used is dithiopyrilmethane (1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-pyrazolone-5-thione). Ratio of collector and complexing agent ranges from 1:0.5 to 1:4.
EFFECT: method ensures selective separation of valuable components into a concentrate with simultaneous reduction of non-return losses of valuable components with common tails.
