FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forestry and can be used for preparation of coniferous trees green. Method for separation of needles from wood shoots involves selection of spruce boughs and their placement into a chamber with gas-air medium. In the chamber, a cryogenic mode is created and maintained, and spruce boughs are held in a cryogenic gas-air medium at a temperature lower than 248 K for 1–4 h until complete crystallization of protoplasm of connective tissue cells, brachyblast, auxiblast and bound moisture in the cell walls with subsequent separation of the frozen needy from wood sprouts by mechanical action.
EFFECT: method will make it possible to increase quality and efficiency of needle separation from wood shoots.
