FIELD: forestry, in particular, stocking of arboreal green.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treating arboreal green in microwave field and separating arboreal green from branches, with arboreal green being preliminarily compressed to 300-400 kg/m3 and treatment procedure being performed in ultrahigh-frequency electromagnetic field having frequency of 2,450 MHz. Apparatus has sequentially arranged charging hopper with feeding mechanism, receptacle chamber with compacting mechanism, working chamber of dielectric material, said chamber being designed for rotation within microwave heating chamber, and separator with drive. Method and construction of apparatus allow green drying process to be substantially intensified.
EFFECT: intensified green drying process and increased biological value of resultant product.
