SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a liquid ejection head, to a liquid ejection device and to a liquid supply method and can be applied to a printer, a photocopier, a fax having a communication system, a word processing processor having a printer, and an industrial printer combined with different processing devices. Liquid discharge head has an ejection hole, a channel in which the energy generation element is located, a part of the ejection hole, which enables communication between the ejection opening and the flow, feed channel to allow fluid to flow into the duct from the outside, and a flow channel to allow the fluid to flow outside. At that, expression H-0.34xP-0.66xW>1.7 is satisfied, when the flow height is given as H, the length of the ejection hole portion is given as P, and the ejection hole portion length is given as W. In the liquid supply method in the liquid ejection head, the liquid supply is performed so that the liquid flows into the outflow duct through a supply duct and flows out through the outflow flow channel. Fluid flow is formed so that liquid entering from the duct into the part of the ejection hole reaches the meniscus point of the liquid formed in the ejection opening, and then returns to the flow. Liquid ejection device contains a liquid ejection head.
EFFECT: possibility of suppressing change in quality of liquid near the ejection hole in the configuration, in which liquid is allowed to flow through the channel between the ejection opening and the energy generation element.
