FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing a multichannel signal. Technical result is achieved by obtaining multichannel signal of current frame; determining initial multichannel parameter of current frame; determining a difference parameter based on the initial multi-channel parameter of the current frame and multichannel parameters of previous K frames of the current frame, wherein difference parameter is used to represent difference between initial multi-channel parameter of current frame and multichannel parameters of previous K frames, and K is an integer greater than or equal to 1; determining the multichannel parameter of the current frame based on the difference parameter and the characteristic parameter of the current frame and encoding the multichannel signal based on the multichannel parameter of the current frame.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of multichannel signal encoding accuracy.
