FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aluminum chromium catalysts for dehydrogenation of C4-C5 paraffin hydrocarbons to corresponding olefins. Catalyst is an aluminum oxide carrier on the surface of which chromium oxide compounds and potassium oxide are distributed directly, catalyst has specific surface area from 10 to 250 m2/g, pore volume of not less than 0.15 cm3/g, concentration of strong acid centers, characterized by heat of desorption of ammonia of more than 150 kJ/mol, not more than 3 mcmmole NH3/g; chromium in the active component is characterized in the UV-type spectrum of diffuse reflection by the absorption band d-d of the electronic transition of the octahedral Cr(III) cation with a wave number from 16,500 to 17,500 cm-1, aluminum oxide precursor is boehmite of composition Al2O3⋅nH2O, where n = 1.00–1.19 mol H2O/mol Al2O3, which contains χ-Al2O3 in amount of 0.5 to 20 wt%, in the catalyst chromium oxide compounds are bound to the surface of the alumina support in form of chromium(III) oxide clusters and dehydrated chromium (VI) polymer particles, in which chromium in Raman spectra is characterized by the presence of lines with Raman shifts from 540 to 580 cm-1 and from 850 to 890 cm-1 at ratio of integral intensities of lines I540-570/I850-890 not less than 1.5, wherein catalyst composition is formed in following ratio, wt%: chromium oxide 8–20; potassium oxide 0.1–5; aluminum oxide is the rest.
EFFECT: technical result consists in formation of additional strong bonds of Cr-O-Al clusters of chromium (III) oxide with a carrier to increase catalyst service life, stability of its catalytic action, increasing the amount of the obtained olefin during prolonged operation during dehydrogenation of C4-C5 paraffin hydrocarbons under fluidized bed conditions.
